About the authors
Although he was born in California, Michel Bohbot spent most of his youth in Marseilles (France), Casablanca (Morocco) and New York. When he returned to the US he constantly scanned the skies for that great American hero Superman! While he never did find him, comics helped him learn English again and got him drawing. Michel has illustrated video games, books, CD’s, magazines, and more for clients as diverse as LucasArts, Warner Books, Electronic Arts, Activision, and a bunch of German horror books! He has been President of the San Francisco Society of Illustrators, and he also teaches in the San Francisco Bay Area. See more of his work at www.mbohbot.com
Dominic Bohbot first fell in love with fantasy at the age of ten, when he discovered the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. He also developed a love of Medieval and Renaissance history and early music. In this, his first novel, he has drawn on those influences, as well from his experiences living in and traveling through such exotic destinations as Marseilles, Paris, Geneva, Casablanca, and New York City. He is working on the sequel to Zintara and the Stones of Alu Cemah, as well as on a series of short stories set in Zintara’s world. In his spare time (if any) he enjoys playing the recorder, piano and guitar. He lives in California’s Sierra Nevada foothills.
